I studied Live Sound and Event Production at the British and Irish Modern Music Institute – I was also a Director at Hastings Pride and the Treasurer at Hastings Youth Council for several years.
Over the years as a sound engineer I have worked in many venues and for many artists, from small intimate gigs of 50 people up to sold out arena shows with over 15,000 people.
I have lots of experience with line array and point source PA systems (I’m an experienced d&b system tech), event infrastructure such as electrics and production management, and analogue and digital mixing systems, with good knowledge and experience especially with DiGiCo and Midas mixing consoles.
One of my biggest hobbies while working as a sound engineer is Photography. I used to specialise predominantly in music photography for over six years – taking many photos at local music concerts across the country.
In my spare time now I mainly focus on landscape photography and aerial photography – please keep up to date on my latest photos over on my Flickr page.
